BENEFITS OF YOGA
In terms of profound philosophy, yoga uses three means: conditioning the body (asana), conditioning (pranayama) and conditioning the mind (ekgrata) as the basis.
 - Body conditioning is the formation of specific postures, combining a number of movements and muscle contractions focusing on a certain body area.
 - That is to breathe in some way in order to accumulate vital energy (called qi or prana).  This bioenergy is considered the source of life energy, which can cure diseases or strengthen the body's internal forces.
 - Regulating the mind is also known as sensitization, ie controlling and mastering the senses, sensitive parts, nerve impulses and executors.
Yoga practitioners will achieve perfect results when practicing all three methods above.  Once the vital energy has been created, the yogi will use the mind to direct that life energy to certain areas of the body that the asana is focusing on.  This bioenergy will help to cure or restore functions in those places.  However, to reach this level, one must "cultivate" for many years, even a lifetime, and still have not reached it.
The most popular yoga in Vietnam today is hatha yoga with 84 poses.  The first stage of yoga practice is mainly practicing asanas, combining breathing and focusing thoughts to keep balance.  An asana is a special pose that is held in place for a period of time and is said to have specific effects on the endocrine glands, joints, muscles, ligaments and nerves.
 - The benefits of yoga have been proven for a long time if done correctly and according to each person's strength.  Yoga helps to increase strength, balance, flexibility, anti-stress... and cure diseases (Yoga Therapy, Restorative Yoga).
 Namaste
